Here’s the night-time view from Coventry Street, where we’re currently at work on a 21-level residential development. Neighbouring The Shrine of Remembrance and the Royal Botanic Gardens, careful consideration has been given to the building’s formal architectural composition and immersion into the existing context. The steel canopy framing the 19 levels along Coventry Street is angled asymmetrically off the building’s precast concrete form, creating a subtle ripple along the building’s northern façade while articulating the finer grain of the apartments by level. More images to come soon.
